Groundhog Omens

The first weekend of February has come and gone and so was the chance to ride. It seems our brief respite from the cold weather has run out. This weekend was just too cold to get out and since there were family obligations I didn't push it to even try.

I rode every weekend in January which was great. I know that those four rides have built a foundation that will pay dividends when warm weather comes around. I guess the trainer will have to do for a few days. It is going to be 40-44 this week so I am not ruling out a small afternoon ride.

It is so much harder to get motivated to ride the trainer than to go out on the road. I can easily spend an hour to two hours on the road but getting even 20 minutes on a trainer is like pulling teeth.
